Chubby Duckie with Bear Hat Crochet Pattern PDF

Create Chubby Duckie with Bear Hat with this digital crochet pattern. The listing provides downloadable instructions for making the project shown.

Pattern Details

• Step-by-step written pattern in US crochet terms
• Instructions for all parts: body, wings, feet, beak, and the bear hat with ears
• Stitch guidance and round-by-round counts throughout
• Worked in continuous rounds for a smooth, seamless finish
• A clean, huggable result that reads handcrafted boutique, not craft-night scramble

Materials & Tools

• Chunky yarn in yellow, brown, and orange (designer used Parfait Chunky for all three)
• Black and white embroidery yarn for the bear hat nose detail and optional eye highlights
• 4mm crochet hook
• Safety eyes: 14mm for the duck body, 10mm for the bear hat
• Polyfill stuffing
• Stitch markers, scissors, and a tapestry needle for finishing
• Stitches used: magic ring (MR), chain (ch), single crochet (sc), increase (inc), invisible decrease (dec), slip stitch (slst), double crochet (dc), front loops only (FLO), mini bobble stitch (MBO)

Additional Details

• Intermediate.
• You'll want to be comfortable with working in continuous rounds and attaching pieces directly onto the body as you go, but nothing here is out of reach. If you've made a simple amigurumi before, this duck is a very satisfying next step.
